WORLD FENCE NEWS • MAY 2012 • 25 West Coast Regional Fence Show is on the horizon for this fall The West Coast Regional Fence Show – described as "The Biggest Lit- tle Show in the West" – is slated for Oct. 4-6, 2012 at John Ascuaga's Nugget in Reno, Nevada. The show is sponsored by the California Chapter, California Fence Contractors Associa- tion and the Pacific Northwest Chap- ter of the American Fence Association. The event will include the trade show, as well as educational sessions, chapter meetings, a gate operator sem- inar, golf tournament, special awards and the opportunity to take the Certi- fied Fence Professional (CFP) exam. For more information on attending or exhibiting, contact the following in- dividuals: • Dick Boyle, Pacific Northwest chapter president and show chairman, 888-207-2225, e-mail r.boyle@fron- NAFCA slates International Fence Contractors Expo The North American Fence Con- tractors Association (NAFCA) has an- nounced the dates and location for the International Fence Contractors Expo to be held at the Classic Center in Athens, Ga. The show and associated activities will be held Nov. 7-10, 2012. The pre-show activities will kick off on Nov. 7 with the NAFCA board of directors meeting. Education semi- nars and training events will start on the morning of Nov. 8. A golf outing will be held the afternoon of the 8th, along with other activities. Activities scheduled for Nov. 9 will include additional education sem- inars and training, followed by an evening barbecue and "NAFCAR" racing. The NAFCAR event involves non- powered, soap box derby type cars built out of materials used in the fenc- ing business. Show kickoff will be Nov. 10 and will include outdoor demonstrations and other activity. The Expo activities will conclude with a reception the evening of Nov. 10. Available exhibitor booth space will be limited. Show admission fees and seminar fees are waived for NAFCA members, the association said.
