NEWS & T RE ND S John S. Savage III, 1913-2012 John Savage passed away at his home in North Wales, UK at the age of 99. His son, Brian Savage, Savage Associates Inc., said that his father has been involved in the industry for nearly 80 years. In 1933, he worked with Bob Wheaton Sr. of Wheaton Brass (now Emco Wheaton) to develop the first O ring style swing joint seal. In 1944, John became US Army Corp. of Engineers Captain heading up flight fuel storage for the 553rd Battalion in the South Pacific. In 1948, he worked for Shell Oil, developing and install- ing the first bottom loading system, what is now standard INTELLIDYNE, LLC NAMES DANHILL ENERGY SOLUTION A/S "INTELLIDYNE INTERNATIONAL" Denmark based sales and marketing com- pany Danhill Energy Solution A/S joined with U.S. based Intellidyne LLC to form Intellidyne International in early March. Danhill, whose main focus has been export, is preparing to identify, install and support new dealers and distribution sites in the international markets. Intellidyne's energy-saving products are for commercial and residential heating, cool- ing, and refrigeration and guarantee energy consumption savings of 10-30 percent with- out affecting building comfort level. President of Danhill Solutions Jette Toft says, "With new concrete initiatives, we hope to ignite a mobile technical task force to focus on gathering and implementing sales, marketing, and technical experience to dealers around the world." Toft contin- ues, "This will enable Intellidyne, LLC to share results and streamline global efforts to benefit the entire organization."
