The BMW Championship will be played September 6-11 at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana. The 2012 BMW Championship, which was played at Crooked Stick, was named that year's 'Tournament of the Year' by the PGA TOUR, with benchmarks achieved in several areas, including attendance, community support and philanthropic contributions back to the Evans Scholars Foundation, the tournament's sole charity. Rory McIlroy won the 2012 BMW Championship over a star-studded leaderboard that included Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Adam Scott, who all finished inside the top 10. "We are thrilled to be bringing the BMW Championship back to Crooked Stick Golf Club, where we had such a successful event in 2012, thanks in large part to the tremendous community and business support in the market," said Vince Pellegrino, Senior Vice President of Tournaments for the Western Golf Association, which conducts the event. "We look forward to engaging again with the great people of Indiana and to producing the very best fan environment possible." The 2012 BMW Championship raised nearly $3 million for the Evans Scholars Foundation. More than 115,000 spectators attended the 2015 BMW Championship. 2016 BMW CHAMPIONSHIP RETURNS TO CROOKED STICK 2015 BMW CHAMPIONSHIP HIGHLIGHTS In one of the most impressive performances in the history of the PGA TOUR Playoffs, Jason Day completed a dominant wire-to-wire win at the BMW Championship, finishing the tournament with a winning score of 22 under par (262 total). Day is the first player since Camilo Villegas in 2008 to go wire-to- wire and win the BMW Championship.
