Networking News Local women and businesses on the move The CUNA Mutual Foundation, the philanthropic arm of financial services company CUNA Mutual Group, has announced its goal for 2012: to change the community conversation around domestic abuse, mental health, access to health care and other issues. In 2011, the foundation donated more than $1 million to support projects through- out the community. The Creative Company, a public relations firm, re- cently announced two new hires. Jill Patrick (left), a UW-Madison graduate, has joined the team as a project manager and Leah Pieper (right), formerly of WISC-TV, has been welcomed to the company as a public relations specialist. Park Towne, a real estate and development com- pany, announced that Michelle Havron, has been promoted to director of marketing and business development. Havron has been with the company since 1990. Mary Kaminski has joined Veterinary Emergency Service and Veterinary Specialty Center as hospital administrator. Kaminski will oversee a staff of 70 at urgent care and emergency facilities in Madison and Middleton. Summit Credit Union has promoted Nicole Kane to mortgage loan officer at the financial company's Fitchburg branch. Over the last 12 years, Kane has held positions at Summit as a financial service advisor and assistant branch manager. Local Pros Receive Kudos for Advertising Design The Madison chapter of the American Advertising Federation recently presented several companies and individuals from Madison and Milwaukee praise for excel- lence in advertising at the 2012 Addy Awards. Among those recognized were Kassie Myers, awarded "Student Best of Show" for her work on Edgewood College's Woodstock Poster Campaign, and Agrace HospiceCare, awarded for their Agrace HospiceCare Rock County Capital Campaign.
