De Jesus notes that Helix would deliver convenience to consum- ers and businesses where it hadn't been before. "If you think of air- lines, you think of cruise lines, you think of high rotation bars and res- taurants, for example, the potential is quite significant," he says. The product is currently in use in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and South Africa, among other countries. In the United States, Bronco will be using it for its Red Tr u c k w i n e s s t a r t i n g l a t e r t h i s year. "We're very honored by the trust the company has placed in the product, and we're very much looking forward to its arrival on the American shelf," says De Jesus, who notes that some imported brands are already in the U.S. market. SPARKLING WINE CLOSURES North Carolina-based Nomacorc, which has pioneered wine closures using plant-based biopolymers, has expanded its product line to include a new sparkling wine closure called Zest.
