On July 5, Nice S.p.A., one of the largest international manufacturers of home and gate automation equipment, purchased HySecurity Gate, Inc. in a stock transaction. Nice S.p.A. is headquartered in Oderzo, Italy, with its U.S. headquar- ters, Nice USA, based in San Antonio, Tex. HySecurity is a major designer and manufacturer of commercial, in- dustrial, and parking gate operators, as well as high security automated gate systems and anti-terrorist vehicle barriers. It is based in Kent, Wash. The combined U.S. companies span residential, rural, commercial, industrial, parking and anti-terrorist markets.
