"So we reached out to one of our local fence distributors to see if they could expe- dite the delivery of the round cedar posts to us so we could begin cutting the tips. The folks at B&B Whole- sale Fence in Rehoboth, Mass. came through, and had the posts delivered within three days of the order. "Once our amazing wood shop cut the tips, we allowed the posts to dry for eight days," said Czar. "Once dry, we started priming the posts, and this was time consuming. Once they were completely dry we began to apply the Benjamin Moore Arborcoat stain. After this was done we were ready to start prepping for the install. "For safety concerns, the fence was designed to just be vertical posts, with no rails. And for aesthetics, it was made to look like free standing pencils," he said. "We were thinking about the best way to get the posts installed, and came to the conclusion that a trench had to be dug to install the footer. We decided to put temp rails on the back of the posts so they could be handled, and we put them in sections of six. The posts were staggered so they had to be stacked in order," he said. The fenceline measures 68 lin- eal feet and 145 of the round pointed posts were used. • Founded in 2010, Liberty Fence, Inc. is a family-owned Rhode Island retail fence contractor.
