EZ-JECT AC&R LEAK DETECTION KIT The Spectroline Complete EZ-Ject Leak Detection Kit (OLK- 400EZ/E) is designed to help technicians quickly and reliably pinpoint refrigerant leaks in small- to medium-size AC&R sys- tems, including high-pressure R-410A systems. Using an injector included in the kit, a technician adds a small amount of dye to the system and lets it circulate. The dye/oil mixture escapes with the refrigerant. When scanned with a high- intensity Spectroline OPTI-LUX 400 leak detection flashlight, the leak will glow brilliantly. The OPTI-LUX 400 is a powerful, rechargeable violet light LED flashlight. It emits less visible light compared to standard blue-light inspection lamps, so leaks are easier to spot. The flashlight has power comparable to high-intensity 150-watt lamps and an inspection range of 25 feet or more. Also included in the kit are: EZ-50 EZ-Ject dye injector EZ-25 hose/coupler with check valve, low-loss fitting and purge fitting 2) EZ-4/E 0.5 oz. (14.8 ml) universal/POE dye cartridges 8 oz. (237 ml) spray bottle GLO-AWAY dye cleaner (3) Drip plugs for hose/coupler Smart battery-charging cradle with AC and DC cord sets Fluorescence-enhancing glasses (for when technicians have to work in bright sunlight conditions) Each dye cartridge in the kit treats up to two gallons of lubri- cant, 25 lbs. of refrigerant or 12 tons of cooling. Spectroline dyes don't need to be flushed. They can safely stay in the system working. When used with EZ-Ject Kit as part of a regular cus- tomer preventive maintenance plan, Spectroline dyes become a cost-effective method for finding future leaks too.
