----------------------- NEW Junior Activity JUNIORS JUNIORS JUNIORS Guidelines For applications call Rosemary Holland at: 1-800-344-6273, ext. 207 or email: rosemaryadmin@ncsf.com Courts can sponsor 6 activities or projects annually for junior members (ages 15 and under). At least 5 junior members must be present at each event to qualify for subsidy. Activities should be enjoyable for the junior members but also promote either faith, volunteerism, or patriotism. Activity must be connected to and promote NCSF as the sponsor. Funds received as a subsidy for a junior activity are to be used, fi rst to recoup any expense connected to the event and then held in the court treasury earmarked solely for future junior activities. At least one junior activity should include service to others. Putting faith into action by helping parish or community demonstrates our Love, Benevolence and Charity. Guests are always welcome to attend, however only ONE guest event will be subsidized each year. Every junior member who is participating in the activity can invite up to 5 guests. Looking for a patriotic event? St. Mary Magdalen Court 117 in Mantador, ND raised the fl ag in honor of Flag Day. The fl ag means the spirit of liberty and freedom. Hold a similar event for your juniors on Patriot Day, September 11. Talk about fun fl ag facts, such as the meaning of the colors of the fl ag: red is for valor and zeal - white is for hope, purity, and cleanliness of life - and blue, the color of heaven, loyalty, sincerity, justice, and truth.
