With increased engine power, lifting capacity and comfort, the PX Series' new additions combine modern design and robust functionality into one powerful workhorse. The new PX models offer operators more gross engine power than previous models, with the PX9530PC, PX1053PC and PX1153PC yielding 93-, 103- and 110-hp. Tier 4-compliant diesel engines, respectively. Outfitted with a synchronized power shuttle transmission, the new models provide smooth shuffle operation and allow the operator to perform loader work without pressing the clutch pedal. In addition, the new models offer a lift capacity of more than 8,000-pounds and deliver PTO speeds ranging from 79.1 to 92.2 hp. With many standard features including an operator-friendly climate- controlled cab, four-wheel drive and a category II three-point hitch, the new PX Series models are ready for any job that demands a durable tractor. Additional comfort features include a convenient cup holder, front and rear wipers, adjustable steering wheel and instrument panel and a ventilating roof panel. The PX Series also features a larger fuel tank with 34.3-gallon capacity for increased productivity without the need for frequent refueling. The enhanced PX Series models come standard with dual remote hydraulic valves to accommodate a wide variety of attachments and implements including the Kioti KL1153 front loader. Kohler unveils Aegis engine with EFI technology Kohler Engines continues to expand its line of Electronic Fuel Injected (EFI) engines with the launch of the newly modified Aegis EFI engine. The liquid- cooled engine, designed for use in utility vehicles, lawn and garden equipment, heavy-duty construction equipment and other applications, now features Kohler's latest EFI technology for optimal fuel efficiency, improved power and enhanced reliability. The Aegis engine joins an extensive line of more than 30 EFI models, which has continued to grow since Kohler pioneered the company's first EFI twin-cylinder engine in 1996. "Combining the liquid-cooling capabilities of the Aegis with Kohler's latest EFI technology creates a stronger, more reliable engine that offers optimized performance," said William Schnell, senior product manager. "The new Aegis EFI is an ideal choice for those demanding applications that require peak efficiency, reliability and performance." Built to last, the Kohler Aegis EFI's liquid- cooling system helps maintain consistent running temperatures while keeping oil cool, limiting engine wear-and-tear. The engine's new EFI technology comes equipped with advanced sensors, which monitor engine running conditions and environmental factors to optimize engine performance. EFI technology replaces carburetors, eliminating the need for carburetor-related maintenance and costly downtime. EFI also offers easy, automotive-like starting for reliable and consistent performance, job after job. The Kohler Aegis EFI is a V-Twin, horizontal-shaft, gasoline engine available in a 30-hp. model. Kubota expands commercial mower line with Z400-Series Kubota Tractor Corporation introduced its new Z400-Series zero-turn commercial mower line. The Z400-Series is com- prised of three models: the Z411KW-48, Z421KW-54 and Z421KWT-60 — all powered by Kawasaki FS gasoline en- gines and available with 48-, 54-, or 60-inch decks, respectively. Kubota's Z400-Series combines the performance and durability of commercial-grade components with a new, modern design and class-leading speed. Kubota uses Hydro-Gear's Commercial ZT3400 transmission to provide the optimum combination of speed and torque. The transmission is designed for ease of maintenance to minimize downtime for landscape professionals. A 24- hp. Kawasaki FS gasoline engine powers the Z421KWT-60 and Z421KW-54, while a 22-hp. Kawasaki FS engine powers the Z411KW-48, and all three models come equipped with a 6.8-gallon fuel tank. The Z400 delivers more horsepower to the deck while mowing on the largest tires in the class. The Z400's large, low-profile tires help the mowers provide superior grass cutting performance through dense turf and across hilly terrain. Kubota's Z400-Series is designed to maximize efficiency and productivity, starting with a thick and durable tubular-steel frame for strong and stable operation. Each model features a 10-gauge, five-inch-deep, fully welded deck. Kubota's K-Lift deck height adjustment system makes for quick and easy cutting height changes with a simple turn of a dial and press of the pedal. Michelin Tweel Technologies expands its line of airless radial tires for skid-steers Michelin Tweel Technologies, manufacturer of the award-winning Michelin X Tweel airless radial tire, announced it will expand the reach of its airless skid- steer tires with the launch of a new size — 10N16.5 X Tweel SSL All Terrain. The revolutionary tire-wheel assembly, originally introduced four years ago, offers a solution to the seemingly unavoidable challenge of chronic flat tires that plague the millions of skid-steer loaders and zero-turn radius mowers utilized by many commercial operations. The new 10N16.5 product will be a viable option for those skid-steer machines that require the smaller 10-inch dimension. Combined with the 12-inch product, Michelin Tweel Technologies now offers sizes that support the vast majority of skid-steer machines on the market today. With the all-terrain tread pattern, designed for use on a wide range of surfaces, the 10N16.5 will serve users in a variety of industries, such as rental fleets, construction and agriculture. The 10N16.5 has a 31/32-inch tread depth with a 10/32-inch undertread for ease of retreading. The 177-pound tire can support a 3,700-pound maximum load per tire. OX Tools' mix m8 The new mixing paddle, mix m8, is so dissimilar to any existing mixing paddle it is an entirely new breed. Because of its "rabbit ear" design, it produces smoother mixes, faster; and cleanup is easier, even with the stickiest solutions. mix m8 is ideal for mixing small batches of thin sets, mortars, cement, plaster and similar materials. Unlike traditional steel paddles, mix m8 is a highly flexible and durable non-
