www.landscapeirrigation.com Landscape and Irrigation November/December 2016 7 GIE+EXPO and Hardscape North America were held Oct. 19-21 in Louisville, Ky. This year's show was the largest ever for GIE+EXPO/HNA, with HNA moving to the North Wing of the Kentucky Exposition Center to allow for its continued growth. According to Kris Kiser, president and CEO of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, lead sponsor of the show, this year's event was bigger than ever, including an increased footprint for the Outdoor Demonstration Area. "The dirt outside is sold out, so we sold the asphalt," said Kiser (the outdoor portion of HNA was held on the paved area beyond the traditional Outdoor Demonstration Area). "Registration is up. Dealers are up," Kiser added. With the show being the biggest ever, the amount of new product offerings was astounding as well. Press conferences and new product introductions were almost nonstop throughout the show. This recap shares some of the highlights from industry manufacturers. POST-SHOW RECAP
