Holiday Display at Pabst Mansion Through Jan. 8 The Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion, 2000 W. Wisconsin Ave., presents A Grand Avenue Christmas through Jan. 8. Three floors of the mansion are elegantly transformed during this annual holiday tradition. The Pabst Mansion's hours are 10am-4pm Monday through Saturday and noon-4pm Sunday. Holiday admission is $12.50 adults, $11.50 seniors and college students. New this year, children 16 and under tour for free with paid adult admission. Tours during the holiday season are self-guided, with last entry at 3:15pm daily. There is a Twilight Tour Dec. 16, 5-7pm. Self-guided tours conclude with refreshments. Advance tickets are $14 adults and $7 children (6-17).Tickets at the door are $16 adults and $9 children. Children under 6 are free. Celebrate with Waukesha Silver Bells Through Dec. 30 Waukesha's Downtown not only decks out for the holidays, it makes everything magical with horse drawn carriage rides, carolers, Santa Breakfast Workshops, an art crawl and a 5K Santa run & walk. Retailers keep the doors open later all through the month of December. waukeshasilverbells.com European Village at MPM Dec. 2 & 3 The Streets of Old Milwaukee and European Village at the Milwaukee Public Museum are decorated for the holidays until January 2017 On Dec. 2 and 3, discover what traditions have endured, as well as those that have been forgotten, when costumed enactors and interpreters bring to life European holiday practices of the past. Visitors can immerse themselves in the spirit of the season, see holiday artifacts not usually on display, talk with curators about holiday folk dress and New Year's traditions, and participate in fun, interactive activities.
