arah Howie of the Corporation of
Delta in Delta, British Columbia,
Canada, uses a little dipper water
level meter to measure the depth of the
water table below the surface of the
Burns Bog, a raised peat bog, to deter-
mine season fluctuations. The Corpora-
tion of Delta has monitored the water
table in Burns Bog since 2005 to see
how the bog is responding to restora-
