ERIC LESKINEN TO LEAD CONSULTING DIVISION OF P3 PROPANE SAFETY Eric Leskinen is heading up the consult- ing division of P3 Propane Safety, the company announced. Leskinen has 27 years' experience in the p e t roleum and transportation indus- tries, his concentration being propane safety. A k e y c o m p o - nent in the consulting business will be the development of cus- tomized policies and procedures for retail marketers of propane. Leskinen said, "We see a significant need in the marketplace for documented policies and procedures, particularly with respect to propane safety related areas." "Good policies and procedures are also a great basis for monthly safety meetings as they relate specifically to a company's operations and therefore are not generic in nature," said Jerry Schimmel, vice presi- dent of P3 Propane Safety in a statement announcing the hiring of Leskinen. P3, based in Portsmouth, N.H., has been building information systems for risk management, compliance, and marketing for over 16 years. The company works with over 600 propane and oil heat marketers throughout the United States.
