Celebrating our 33rd year of publication • Visit us online at www.worldfencenews.com June 2017 When Sloan Park, home of the world champion Chicago Cubs spring training facility in Mesa, Ariz. was re- furbished in 2013, the finishing touch was to surround it with the Architec- tural Fencing System (AFS Fencing) from International Technical Coatings (ITC). The AFS welded wire mesh fenc- ing, custom coated in Wrigley Green, provides a beautiful and secure enclo- sure for the park, and complements the surroundings, which include many structures painted green. The manufacturer of the AFS sys- tem reports that it is still looking good and resisting the effects of the harsh desert environment. The modern 15,000-seat capaci- ty complex, formerly known as Cubs field, is one of the largest stadiums among the 10 Cactus League facilities in the Mesa metropolitan area. Included in the project were ap- proximately 3,000 lineal feet of AFS Fencing panels, each 8 feet wide by 8 feet tall. ITC provided the fence pan- els and mounting clips,. "What an amazing opportuni- ty it has been for ITC to provide not only the Cubs but the Mesa commu- nity with the highest quality fencing system in the industry. We believe ITC will continue to knock it out of the park as an industry leader with products like AFS Fencing and we're excited to see where it takes us in the future," said CEO Faruk Gole. With an innovative technolo- gy that ensures quality, durability, superior weather resistance and a maintenance free fence, ITC manu- factures all its fencing products with a multi-layer powder coating process that can be custom configurable with various sizes and colors to meet cus- tomer requests, Gole added. AFS is available in four config- urations: EcoLine (residential/recre- ational uses), CommerceLine (indus- trial/commercial uses), PatriotLine (high security applications), and Cus- tomLine (architectural installations). All lines are available in various heights, widths, gages, number of V-bends and colors. • ITC was founded in 1993 as a powder coater and soon expanded into wire manufacturing. The firm is headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz. with a manufacturing and distribution plant in Columbus, Ohio. ITC manufactures a wide range of wire products including security fencing, heavy and light duty wire mesh decking, dividers and flue spac- ers, gridwall/slatwall, POP displays, industrial and specialty drawn wire, custom wire and steel products, mine mesh, re-enforcing mesh, and roll formed products.
