FENCE DIVISION SUPERINTENDENT – MILWAUKEE, WI – Munson Fence Divi- sion is looking for a motivated individual to lead our fence crews. We request that you have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a fore- man in fencing. The role of the superintendent is to schedule crews, order materials, schedule and work with subcontractors, unload deliveries, stage materials for crews, inspect jobs before, during and after construction, help problem solve during installation challenges, weld and fabricate gates, posts and other fence related products and communicate with customers and the sales team. Job description: Superintendent will be expected to manage +/- 4 crews of 2 people and will be expected to be able to read blueprints and layout jobs. You will be responsible for driving a company truck from the office to the job sites. Conducting safety meetings and ensuring compliance with safety regulations will be your responsibility. You can expect to be in charge of verifying and correcting employee time sheets. Coordination of materials delivery will be a daily responsibility. Required skills: • Able to lead, manage, discipline and train a crew of 8-10 employees. • Ability to operate and manage the use of equip- ment. • Ability to read blueprints as needed. • Ability to layout a site. • Communication with the customer. • Able to order, schedule and coordinate material deliveries. • Able to order, schedule and coordinate subcon- tractors. • Able to carry out routine preventative mainte- nance on machinery. • Assist crew members (foreman required) in ob- taining CLASS A CDL's. • A valid driver's license is required with a good driving record and the ability to drive company trucks as needed. • Candidate must be a team player, possess a positive work attitude, self-motivated, be able and willing to work overtime as well as Saturdays as required and be able to communicate clearly with members of the crew and the supervisor. • Be certified in OSHA 10 or 30 as required upon hire or within first year. • Proficient in welding.
