Recently, domestic production in the northern reaches of the country has revived, growing 60% last year. A specialty tea segment is emerging and although suppliers are largely targeting local tea drinkers there are ambitions to export. The brand exports to several countries and employs 200 on a 100-acre estate that produces organic and EU-certifi ed sustainable black teas and green teas.
