Fencers, a young man desperately needs your help! On July 31, 2012, the community of Owings, Maryland — and indeed, the nation — were shocked by an unspeakable tragedy that left 12-year-old Frank (Frankie) Hayward III as the only surviving member of his immediate family. Frankie suffered extremely serious injuries in the horrible act, and is still being treated for burns and lacerations at Children's National Medical Cen- ter in Washington, D.C. The young man's family was involved in the fence business, and it did not take long for the news to spread throughout the industry, saddening both those who knew the Haywards as well as those who did not, but could only sym- pathize. The fence industry is known for pitching in, and now is the time to step up and help Frankie. Your prayers will help ease his psychological and phys- ical wounds, but we can also help with the tremendous financial burdens that have been thrust upon him. A fund has been set up in Frankie's name, and we urge you to contribute as much as you can. Please send checks made out to the Frankie Hayward Trust Fund to: Frankie Hayward Trust Fund, SunTrust Bank, 579 Solomons Island Rd. N., Prince Frederick, MD 20678.
