Castrol Perfecto Heat Transfer Oils are formulated from very
stable paraffinic base oils that are fortified with noted high
temperature oxidation inhibitors. Castrol Perfecto's high viscosity
index coupled with a low pour point offers excellent circulation
during cold weather startups, eliminates overheated pump
motors and protects against hot spots (high fluid temperature in
the heat exchanger).
Other advantages are:
• Low vapor pressure at elevated temperatures and a high
boiling point to prevent pressure build-up.
• Low carbon residue.
• Non-foaming and excellent demulsibility.
Applications:
CASTROL PERFECTO HT 4
Recommended for application in closed circulation systems with temperatures up to 287° C (550° F). Castrol Perfecto
HT 4 is particularly applicable where high transfer rates or good flow rates at fairly low temperatures are desired.
CASTROL PERFECTO HT 5 PLUS
Recommended for application in closed circulation systems with temperatures up to 315° C (600° F).
