Once something is in Ever- note, it's searchable and available across mobile devices and computers. Users also can scan paper documents such as receipts for tax purposes into the app using a phone camera. The Basic version is free and offers syncing on up to two devices. The Plus version, at $34.99 per year, syncs to all devices, offers offline access and more. The Premium version, at $69.99 per year, of- fers text searching in PDF files, scanning and more. Wunderlist Wunderlist is a task manager app that syncs between all de- vices. It allows users to set due dates and reminders for their to-dos, create lists to sort, save web pages and more. Users also can send an email to their Wunderlist account that can be turned into a to-do or note. File attachments from the emails also carry over to the app. The app offers a free version. The Pro version, at $4.99 per month, allows users to upload files of any size and break down larger to-do goals into unlimited subtasks; the free version offers these capabilities in limited amounts. Microsoft OneNote Like other productiv- ity apps, OneNote is available on mobile devices and com- puters. It's free and provides its services without restrictions, other than 5GB of storage space. OneNote is similar to Evernote's free version, but it doesn't limit users on the number of synced devices. Users can forward an email into the app, view note history, access notes offline and more. Tablet users can write and draw by hand within the app for quick notes when necessary. If you've uploaded images of receipts and other text-based items, you can search for text within those images. Todoist Todoist's free ver- sion allows for the creation of to-do lists with tasks and sub- tasks. The Premium version at $28.99 per year provides email and text reminders, location-based alerts, task labeling and filtering and more. The app, both in the free and Pre- mium versions, offers offline access across multiple devices. The Premium version al- lows users to have up to 200 active projects compared to 80 in the free version. Todoist also tracks the completion of tasks. If you assign priorities to projects, the app will evaluate how you're spending your time based on those priorities. Notability Notability supports text, images and audio recordings and also offers a sketch pad that allows users to draw or take notes by hand, mark up images and more. Unlike other pro- ductivity apps, Nota- bility allows users to annotate PDFs and images, providing the ability to fill out, sign and send PDF forms. Notes can be orga- nized into different categories. The app makes it easy to share notes and documents by allowing for drag- ging and dropping to the device's Messages or Mail apps. Notability is avail- able only through the App Store, for $9.99. Content is saved on your iCloud storage account. Stay on top of tasks, documents, emails B eing away from home for days or weeks at a time can make it a challenge for an over-the-road operator to organize business and personal matters. Productivity apps can help you create and manage to-do lists, save documents or web pages, sort important emails and record fleeting thoughts. Vendors of these apps often provide a free version and one or more premium versions with special features and higher limits for storage and monthly uploads. These apps are available on the Apple App Store and Google Play unless otherwise noted. BY MATT COLE
