Grown-up fun is on tap Saturday evening from 7-9pm at Cool Brew & Tunes, a beer and food tasting featuring live music. The event is at the Cedarburg Community Center and includes craft beers tasting, appetizers from local restaurants, a raffle and live music. (Participants are invited to dress as a favorite Superhero!) Tickets are available online or at the door. Sunday morning, enjoy the Pancake Breakfast at the Community Center, 8-11:30am with local superheroes from the Fire and Police Departments. At 10:30am, the "under 7 set" ventures outdoors to hunt for treats. Also on Sunday, top dogs compete in the Dog Weight Pull Competition from 10am- 4pm. Throughout the weekend, merchants feature special sales, live music and family activities. The Shops of Cedar Creek Settlement feature live music on Saturday and Sunday, with Cedar Creek Winery offering complimentary sampling and the Settlement's boutique shops welcoming browsers. On the way out enjoy a stop at the Anvil Pub & Grille's outdoor bar and chili bar. Beautifully preserved 19th century architecture makes Cedarburg a popular destination. The entire downtown was named to the National Register of Historic Places in the mid-1980s.
