10 • JULY 2018 • WORLD FENCE NEWS Canton Fence owner Bill Mueller dies The Michigan Chapter of the AFA is saddened by the passing of Harold W. (Bill) Mueller at the age of 83, reports chapter spokesman Dick Fromm. "Bill owned and operated Can- ton Fence with his son, Jeff," said Fromm. "He was married to Roxanna for 56 years and was the loving fa- ther of Michael, Jeff (Patricia) and the late baby Debbie Mueller. He was a grandfather and great-grand- father. He is survived by a brother, Wayne." Mr. Mueller was born on Feb- ruary 12, 1935 and passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018. He was a res- ident of Garden City, Michigan. Reno to host 2018 West Coast Regional Fence Show "Education-Knowledge-Network- ing Leads to Success" is the theme of the next West Coast Regional Fence Show, scheduled for September 13 – 15, 2018, at the Peppermill Re- sort-Spa-Casino in Reno, Nevada. By-The-Sea includes educational sessions, a golf tournament, keynote speaker, quality networking opportu- nities, and a family corn-hole tourna- ment. "This annual event provides a great opportunity for vendors, cli- ents, owners, installers, and estima- tors to connect with one another over a fun filled weekend," said Jessica S. McEntire, CFA executive secretary. "By-The-Sea has become the premier event in which CFA comes together." She added that there are several sponsorship opportunities available. By-The-Sea also includes the chance to participate in an inshore fishing outing. The cost is $500 (plus tip) for a four hour excursion, three anglers to a boat. Boats will be going out on Friday, Sept. 21 and Saturday, Sept. 22.
