o give these clients an inviting backyard they could enjoy even after the
sun went down, McKay Landscape Lighting in Omaha, Nebraska, illuminated their steps, paths and trees. "The main goal was to highlight the new
and old trees, especially the monster bur oak," says Andrew Coleman, outdoor
lighting designer for McKay Landscape Lighting. They installed 13 copper path
lights, nine copper spots, five down lights and 50 copper step lights on the Ipe deck
steps. Besides highlighting the hardscape and foliage features, the lights also helped
the homeowners and guests safely maneuver around the once-dark areas in the backyard.
