The decision to consolidate all manufacturing of the Astec Industries, Inc. hot mix asphalt plants places Astec in a position to offer a broad range of plants producing between 80 tph to 500 tph (72 to 450 metric tons per hour). During the continuing economic slowdown in the construction industry, Astec has been fortunate to have increased market share through an increased focus on sales and a solid reputation for parts and service.
