UWS
The 85-gallon
tank/toolbox
combos from
UWS are built of
one-piece, heavyduty 14-gauge steel tubes
designed to support extra heavy loads, absorb
tool drops and prevent leakage. Patented fully foamed lid
creates a rigid wall between outer steel layers for added
strength, rigidity and solid, secure lid closure. Quick-pull

Highway Products
Highway Products manufactures both
standard and custom combination transfer
tanks and toolboxes. The transfer tanks can
be built into fifth wheel boxes, single-lid
boxes or gullwing boxes in 50-, 55-, 66-, 80
and 90-gallon capacities for diesel fuel only.
The lockable combo units feature 3/16-inch
marine-grade aluminum construction and are
secured to the truck bed with "J"-bolts.

Other designs place the neck and pump mechanism outside the box for fulltime
access. Toolbox lid designs include single, double and special designs to
accommodate other bed-mounted equipment. (Photo courtesy of RDS)
mounted fuel tank available
with toolbox combinations is
the auxiliary tank. These tanks
are generally plumbed into the
vehicle's factory fuel system, essentially acting as a second tank
for the vehicle.
Some versions allow the op-
tion of an external pump, hose
and nozzle for refueling of offboard equipment.
Most auxiliary tanks include a
dash-mounted switch that allows
the operator to select which tank
the truck draws fuel from, and
the factory in-dash fuel gauge
TOOL BOXES: COMBO TOOL/FUEL
Cattleman Fuel/Tool
combination boxes use a
dual-purpose design: lock
pump and hoses are in one
compartment. Tools go in
another (most models). Each
tank bolts to truck bed and
is equipped with baffles to
limit sloshing and rocking of
fluids. These boxes are built
of sturdy, 11-gauge steel or diamond plated steel and finished
off with a smooth black glossy powder-coated finish. Twin stainless steel hook-style locking latches keep gear secure. Lockable
pump storage and vented fuel caps are optionally available.
Fuel/tool combo boxes are available in 38, 50, 65, 102, or 105
gallon models. Pumps, hoses are not included and diesel tanks
are the transfer type only and sold without caps and plugs.
