The first found a link between trees and birth outcomes in Portland, Oregon, and the second showed that loss of trees from Emerald Ash Borer was associated with increased cardiovascular and lower-respiratory mortality. Dr. Donovan will discuss his findings in the broader context of emerging research linking trees and public health.
