Rev Up Production
Commercial durability meets domestic power
with Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power's line
of Vanguard 810-cc engines for commercial
zero-turn mowers. The company will begin
production on the engines, available in 24- or
26-gross horsepower models, starting January
2014 in Auburn, Alabama. Features include increased torque and easier serviceability using
debris-access panels compared to previous
models. More than one manufacturer will be
releasing a mower powered by this engine at
GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Kentucky, this month. For
