In recent years, Arbor Age and its
sister Green Industry publications —
Landscape and Irrigation, Outdoor Power
Equipment and SportsTurf — have
recognized individuals who have been
influential to the Green Industry. This
year, we have updated our awards program slightly to recognize industry

innovators and innovations.
The awards program will be broken
into two categories: Innovative People and Innovative Products.
Innovative People
For this award, we will recognize Green Industry professionals who have been
innovative forces. It could be someone who has created an innovative product or
solution, has been innovative in their business practices, has used an innovative
approach in the field or their day-to-day work, etc. If you or someone you know has
been innovative in the Green Industry, we want to hear about it.
Innovative Products
If your company has created an innovative product or solution in 2013 for use in
the Green Industry, we want to know about it as well.
Nominations for the "Industry Innovators" awards can be e-mailed to me at
jkmitta@specialtyim.com.
For nominations of people, send 300 words or less about the person, including
what makes that person innovative, their full name, title, company affiliation, as
well as contact phone and e-mail.
For product nominations, send 300 words or less
about the product/solution for Green Industry professionals and what makes it innovative, along with a
high-resolution photo of the product/solution (JPG
format).
Winning selections will be announced later this
year; and those people and products selected to the
2013 list of "Industry Innovators" will then be profiled
in Green Media's group of industry publications in
early 2014.
