Portable HSI plant Terex Minerals Processing Systems expanded its CR Series portable plant line with the addition of the Terex Cedarapids CRH1316 horizontal shaft impact crushing plant. The large-capacity electric plant boasts a large undercrusher vibrating pan to accept discharge material and convey it to the straight-line product conveyor. The design is said to eliminate impact damage to the conveyor belt and to maintain belt tension to prevent slippage while providing a large discharge opening to prevent blockages. Developed to increase operator training effectiveness, safety, and productivity, the release was completed under an alliance between the two companies. It is designed provide realistic material response, digging resistance, and visual appearance. Mine sites using the simulation software are also now able to assess the effectiveness of their rope shovel operators through a Global Operator Benchmarking System (GOBS), which allows the operator to benchmark against global norms. Immersive Technologies | www.immersivetechnologies.com Station network software Topcon Positioning Group rolled out new station network software, TopNET+ v10, a scaleable solution said to support everything from a single CORS station to multiple CORS sites covering a large geographical area. Users of this reference network get GNSS RTK correction data generated using information from all reference stations in a network which allows regional use of RTK while providing data that is specific to each local rover. New features include custom subnetworks based on a rover's position within a larger regional network; a Receiver Independent Exchange Format shop with expanded data management functionality for conversion of data from Topcon and third-party reference stations connected to the network; background maps and BING maps that allow multiple perspectives of the network orientation and regional surroundings; and expanded network RTK engine logging providing detailed metrics of software results.
