I say a big THANK YOU to host Nick Kuhn and the planning committee and staff who did such a great job organizing a very memorable and excellent event. Witnessing the balloons rising at dawn at the Balloon Fiesta was of course the most amazing experience. Monday’s tree walk at the beautiful University of New Mexico campus, guided by campus arborist Brian Suhr, was delightful. Sunday’s excellent field workshop hosted by Trees of Corrales taught us that tree quality and plant- ing issues are shared across the continent, and our dis- cussions helped to solve some of them. The panel com- posed of a landscape architect, a landscape contractor, a city arborist, and a nursery grower was excellent.
