That is not the case: Miller Fortune is brewed with roasted caramel malt and cascade hops, a golden lager that is unlike most lagers in that it contains 6.9% alcohol by volume. The launch is being supported by a major marketing campaign; it is available in 6-pack ($6.99 suggested retail) and 12-pack black bottles, and 16-oz. and 24-oz. gray cans at retailers nationwide.. 6 Pernod Ricard USA has introduced a new Malibu iteration: Malibu Rum Sparkler, which combines Caribbean rum with coconut water and infuses the blend with carbonation. The bottle has a cork and foil closure. The new 22-proof line extension comes in coconut and peach fl avors, and both are now available nationwide for a suggested retail of $16.99 for a 750 ml bottle. 7 William Hill Estate Winery has debuted its Coastal Collection, including the new 2012 William Hill Estate North Coast Chardonnay ($17 suggested retail) and 2012 William Hill Estate North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon ($17). With fruit sourced mostly from Sonoma and Mendocino (and a bit from Napa), the North Coast Chardonnay (13.5% alcohol) is a well-balanced, creamy full-bodied wine with fine acidity, featuring flavors of tree fruit, citrus and tropical fruit. The Cabernet Sauvignon (13.6% alcohol) uses a blend of grapes mostly from Sonoma and Lake County. Well-struc- tured, balanced and complex, the wine highlights rich flavors of blackberry, plum and cherry, finishing with toasted oak. 8 Pinnacle Vodka has released yet another new fl avor: Pinnacle Cinnabon. Parent company Beam partnered with the baked goods chain operator Cinnabon to launch the cinnamon roll-fl avored vodka expression, which it says combines the decadent fl avors of cinnamon, brown sugar and rich cream cheese frosting with hints of caramel. The 70-proof vodka is available for a suggested retail price of $12.99 for a 750 ml bottle. 9 Villa San-Juliette Vineyard & Winery, located in Passo Robles, just released the fi rst vintage of its new 2012 Chorum White ($22 suggested retail). A companion to the winery's Chorum Red, the new white blend contains mostly Rousanne (64%) along with Grenache Blanc (14%), Pinot Gris (13%), Sauvignon Blanc (6%) and Albarino (3%). A rich, fragrant white, the wine features butter- scotch, lemon and fi g along with bright acidity. The winery also announced the latest vintages of its 2011 Petite Sirah ($20), 2011 Cabernet Sauvi- gnon ($20) and 2011 Chorum Red ($25). 10 Freixenet, Spain's well-known sparkling wine house, has debuted a special vintage kosher cava to join its line of méthode champenoise sparkling wines. Freixenet Excelencia Kosher Brut ($15 suggested retail for a 750 ml bottle) is Freixenet's fi rst kosher offering available in several major markets throughout the U.S., in time for this year's Passover celebration. The traditional cava is a crisp, versatile sparkler that pairs well with a variety of foods.
