Equipment Loaders and Attachments 30 Landscape and Irrigation June 2014 www.landscapeirrigation.com Hyundai HL740TM-9A wheel loader The HL740TM-9A wheel loader from Hyundai Construction Equipment is a "Tool Master" version of the standard model that offers parallel lift. This feature, along with a fork attachment, makes this machine perfect for safe and easy loading and unloading of large and odd-shaped materials. This model is part of Hyundai's lineup of 9A series wheel loaders, all of which provide unmatched power and productivity and feature many improvements from previ- ous models including a certified Interim Tier 4 engine upgrade, improved durability and enhanced operator com- fort. Hyundai's HL740TM-9A wheel loader is built with a fuel efficient, low-noise 156-hp. Cummins Tier 4 Interim & EU Stage IIIB QSB6.7 engine. The eco-friendly engine offers advanced electronic controls and a self-diagnostic system, both of which lead to reliable performance. Hyundai's HL740TM-9A wheel loader has an operating weight of 29,320 pounds, a bucket capacity of 3.0 cubic yards and a bucket breakout force of 23,880 pounds. John Deere mid-frame E-Series skid-steer loaders and compact track loaders John Deere's newest additions to the E-Series line of skid-steer loaders and compact track loaders (CTLs) feature design and performance enhancements based on customer feedback. Two skid-steer models (318E, 320E) and two CTL models (319E, 323E) join their large-frame brethren. The machines include upgraded boom performance; auxiliary lines that are integrated through the boom for improved visibility and added protection; and cab improve- ments aimed at improving operator and machine productivity, uptime, and lower daily operating costs. John Deere offers all major control patterns on these models to meet customers' specific needs. This includes traditional hand and foot controls, hand-only controls, or low-effort, electro-hydraulic (EH) joystick controls in both the ISO and "H" patterns. The E-Series features an exclusive option that allows the operator to switch between all three industry control patterns — so contractors can choose the control pattern they're most comfortable using. Mustang RT Series track loaders Mustang introduced the next generation of RT Series track loaders — the 1750RT NXT2 and 2100RT NXT2, which are powered by Tier IV-certified Yanmar diesel engines. Offering many new features, as well as the IdealTrax automatic track tensioning system, these machines efficiently transfer horsepower into tractive effort for pro- ductive performance. The 1750RT NXT2 and 2100RT NXT2 feature horsepower management that monitors and adjusts the hydrostatic drive pump to produce ideal tractive effort; hydraulic flow up to 35.9 gpm; increased opera- tor comfort with added vertical clearance at the lap bars; fully-customizable digital in-cab display with machine information in real time; straight tracking feature, which allows operator to make adjustments to machine tracking from within the cab; tilt-out foot pod; and steel hydraulic lines that provide a cleaner design and eliminate hose tears and wearing. Terex TSR50 radial lift path skid-steer loaders The Terex TSR50 radial lift path skid-steer loader boasts a 50-hp., turbocharged Perkins engine with load sens- ing, variable-flow hydraulics, and a rated operating capacity of 1,500 pounds with 115 inches of lift height and 22 inches of reach. The engine and hydraulic combination on the TSR50 offers 8,453 pounds of tractive effort, giving the wheels on both units' excellent pushing abilities. The push power and loader breakout forces on Terex radial lift path skid-steer loaders allow these units to perform digging and grading tasks efficiently. The TSR50 offers 10.5-inch ground clearance and 28.3-degree rear angle of departure. These features improve the ability of the machine to traverse soft, uneven terrain, making the workday more productive and less frustrating. For quick cycle times, a powerful drive train with optional 2-speed transmission propels Terex loaders to the fastest top speeds in their class — up to 12 mph. ETG-26 dual-tine grapple rake from Worksaver Worksaver, Inc. offers the ETG-26 dual-tine grapple rake for use on 30- to 80-hp. front loaders or skid-steers with the universal attaching system. The ETG-26 features 2 upper grapples that are 20 inches wide, lower tines spaced 10 inches apart, and overall width of 72-inches. The tine grapple is ideal for piling, loading brush and handling other materials while leaving dirt behind. The upper grapple design provides clamping force to hold material securely, featuring greaseable pivot points for long service life and a shield plates to protect the hydraulic cylin- ders. A low-profile design offers great forward visibility for superior control in close quarters, and easy access to skid-steer or loader seat.
