Electric Beasts feature powerful WEG motors ranging up to 1,000 horsepower, and they are equipped with soft-starts to reduce power load on initial start-up. These electric recyclers process waste wood, pallets, shingles and everything the standard Beast can handle; they are easy to set up; and they offer a clean, highly effi cient alternative to diesel power. Electric motors can be outfi tted to all Beast models, from the compact Model 1680XP to the 45-inch-capacity Model 4680XP. Morbark 2600 Wood Hog Compact and easy-to-tow, the Morbark 2600 Wood Hog horizontal grinder is perfect for smaller land-clearing operations, as well as processing yard waste, brush and other mixed woody feedstock into saleable product. Equipped with up to 300 horsepower, the 2600 offers the Morbark Integrated Control System to maximize production and engine effi ciency; a laser-cut, factory-balanced rotor for unsurpassed durability and smooth operation; and an aggressive feed wheel with an internal planetary drive with- out chains or sprockets for more torque and reduced maintenance. With these features and other innovative design elements, this effi cient machine can take your business to the next level. Rotochopper FP-66 The Rotochopper FP-66 packs high-volume "Perfect In One Pass" grinding technology into a mid-sized platform. Based in Saint Martin, Minn., employee-owned Rotochopper designed the FP-66 for companies that want a full-featured horizontal grinder with mid-range horsepower. The Rotochopper FP-66 offers many of the same advantages as the B-66 (the largest grinder Rotochopper produces) with lower horsepower. So you get the time-saving features designed for large-scale wood waste recycling, along with lower fuel costs for smaller raw material volumes. The Rotochopper FP-66 can also be equipped with crawler tracks with highway transport dolly to provide fl exibility. The Rotochopper FP-66 is an excellent horizontal grinder that offers mobility, convenience, and dependability. With Rotochopper's great factory-direct customer service, the Rotochopper FP-66 is perfect for your growing business. Vermeer HG4000 horizontal grinder The Vermeer HG4000 Tier 4i (Stage IIIB) horizontal grinder includes a number of features that make it ideal for a wide array of operators. A 445-horsepower Tier 4i (Stage IIIB) Fiat Powertrain Technologies diesel engine powers the HG4000, and has shown a considerable fuel savings over similarly powered engines in this application. To reduce material slippage and maintain controlled entry into the mill, the crush boost button on the remote momentarily engages increased feed roller downforce on incoming material. The variable feed roller downforce can be reduced or temporarily paused to boost fuel effi ciency and help extend component wear life. Among the innovations that make this horizontal grinder a remarkable machine is the all-new chip drum, which allows the grinder to produce a consistent-sized chip necessary for many applications, including biofuel chip production.
