tens. He has won $276,000.
Barber cracked the winners circle at the South
Georgia Classic, had four other top tens and
banked $269,000. This Florida native, who now
resides in Auburn, will hope to make a splash like
his fellow AU Tiger Jason Dufner.

THREE LOCAL PLAYERS QUALIFY
for the PGA Tour via Web.com Tour
Blayne Barber Zack Sucher Justin Thomas
It's been a banner year for players with local
connections on the Web.com Tour. Zack Sucher
(third), Justin Thomas ( fth) and Blayne Barber
(seventh) all nished in the top 10 on the money
list through the end of the regular season.
And they represent the three major universities
in the state as Sucher, who grew up in Mobile and
lives in Gardendale, played for UAB; while Thomas
played for Alabama for two years, and Barber
played for Auburn. Both Thomas and Barber
played on the Walker Cup too.
All three will be rookies on the PGA Tour in the
2014-15 season and it's not unrealistic to expect
all three to do well. Sucher, 27, is the oldest and
has enjoyed a banner year on the Web.com Tour,
