The event will focus on results from federally funded research projects that are addressing key tree fruit industry issues. Highlights will include mechanical thinning of apple, automated traps for insect pests, new moni- toring traps for biological control agents, organic replant disease treatments, and weed control mulching studies. Results of several other research projects will be presented through posters. Sunrise Orchard, the largest tree fruit research orchard in the nation, is located at Sunrise Lane off Highway 28 between Wenatchee and Quincy.
