arthmoving is a dusty, dirty business. It's hard to stand out amid mammoth yellow-
iron construction equipment on a jobsite, but RPM xConstruction's fl eet of offroad
and vocational trucks and trailers manages to do just that. With its slogan "The Earth
moves with RPM xConstruction," the company lets its customers know whether its
excavation, site projects or the like, it's there to get the job done.
"As our tractor-trailer design was developed, we recognized the importance of
public recognition," says Roger Johnson, fl eet manager for RPM xConstruction.
"With that, we have worked to have a consistent message on who we are and
what we do with emblem colors, theme, design, logo and tagline."
Why we liked it: "At fi rst glance, one might assume the 'earth' on the fenders
and the front grille was unwashed grime left from recent rough rides through
dirt-fi lled mines, but what a clever concept to incorporate the offroad com-
pany's main hauls into its truck logos. Plus, add earth-moving equipment
and a few outlines of Earth's continents into the graphics mix,
and it's easy to see that the Earth indeed does move
