GDI's softstart
clutch controller
GDI's SoftStart clutch controller works with
Warner or Ogura electric clutches and is ideal
for larger-deck, high-horsepower, commercial
riding mowers. Operators will enjoy smooth clutch
engagement every time they turn on their PTO
and less of a teeth-rattling jolt when they engage
their blades. Adding a SoftStart controller to an
electric clutch reduces the mechanical load on
the entire system, from the engine to the blades.
That means less engine droop on engagement;
less belt whip; and less load on springs, pulleys
and spindles. By adding a SoftStart, operators
can significantly extend the life of deck belts and
other mechanical components, which will increase
equipment life and reduce maintenance costs.

JRCO manufactures a line of heavy-duty attach-
ments for commercial mowers. All 7 front-mount
products quickly attach to the JRCO universal
mount bar with clevis pins. The JRCO Tine Rake
Dethatcher (pictured) will give users a quick spring
green-up by removing embedded thatch and
leaves, and combing up matted turfgrass while
mowing. Flexible tines allow zero-turn maneuver-
ability while raking. It is available in 36-, 46- and
60-inch widths.
