The 43% ABV Scotch is available for a suggested retail price of $300 for a 750-ml. bottle. Stolichnaya announced the arrival of the elit pristine water series: Andean Edition, the third and fi nal limited edition in the company's ultra- premium vodka series. Each edition of elit contained a different water source; this year the waters of Colico Lake in Chile, a natural spring fl owing from the Andes Mountains, was used in the vodka. The 40% ABV vodka is available for a suggested retail price of 3,000 EUR per bottle. Diageo has introduced three fl avored whiskeys to the Jeremiah Weed brand: Spiced Whiskey, Cinnamon Whiskey and Sarsaparilla Whiskey. Each uses hand-selected spices. Ranging from 35.2% to 35.6% ABV, the new whiskeys are available for a suggested retail price of $18.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. This past November, Carmen, Chile's oldest winery, released a new Carmenere to mark the 20th anniversary of Carmenere's rediscovery. Indeed, for years, the Carmenere grape was mistakenly thought to be Merlot, which it closely resembles, and many people believed Carmenere had simply died out. In November 1994, however, the grape was identifi ed in the Carmen winery estate vineyards by a French grape expert. Featuring the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon and the roundness of Merlot, Carmenere has recently been growing in popularity in the U.S. Imported into the U.S. by Trinchero Family Estates, Carmen Gran Reserva 2011 Carmenere has a suggested retail price of $15. Cloudy Bay has introduced Te Wahi 2011, a new pinot noir from the Central Otago region. This is the fi rst new product for New Zealand-based Cloudy Bay in 25 years. Te Wahi 2011 has a suggested retail price of $75 per bottle. Italian wine brand Canti announced the national availability of Canti Prosecco D.O.C. Millesimato. The Prosecco is crafted from Glera grapes sourced from the Veneto wine region of northeast Italy. It has a suggested retail price of $14.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. Duckhorn Wine Company has announced a new 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon: Canvasback Washington State Red Mountain. The inaugural vintage is made using wine from a number of Red Mountain vineyards. It's available for a suggested retail price of $40 per bottle.
