AGGREGATES MANAGER March 2015 10 Large loader LiuGong introduces its largest wheel loader, the CLG8128H, aimed at large-scale quarry operations. The loader features a 13 foot, 3 inch dump height and a 9.16-cubic-yard rock bucket with moveable blade. Liu- Gong says it takes only 7.4 seconds to raise the bucket for loading, which allows for efficient work cycles. Liugong | www.liugong.com Tandem vibrating screen W.S. Tyler's Tandem F-Class Vibrating Screen provides an alternative to machines larger than 10 feet by 24 feet by placing two 10-foot by12-foot F-Class machines in tandem and operating on a 15- to 25-degree incline. The manufacturer says this offers operational benefits such as cleaner operation, less maintenance, and longer life for the structure that houses them. In this configuration, each unit feeds the other. Tandem configuration can be used for both two- and three-deck units, and a 3-inch drop between screens promotes additional material tumbling to facilitate passage of any remaining fines through the screen. Discharge lips and rubber skirting minimize spillage during the transition. W.S. Tyler | www.wstyler.ca Side dump unloader The Masaba Side Dump Truck Unloader is the manufacturer's newest addition to its line of truck unloaders. Said to eliminate dumping of material on the ground and re-handling, the unit fea- tures an 8-foot by 40-foot hopper with a 30-cubic-yard capacity. Under the 3/8-inch steel hopper is a 36-inch by 52-foot conveyor driven by heavy-duty drives. The unit can be customized to spe- cific operational needs and can be stationary or skid-mounted. Masaba | www.masabainc.com Mobile cone crusher Kleemann says its Mobicone MCO 9i EVO/ MCO 9i S EVO mobile cone crushers of- fers aggregate producers high-productivity secondary or tertiary crushing in fuel- efficient, Tier 4 Final compliant machines. The S-version provides a discharge conveyor-mounted final classifying screen with oversized aggregate return conveyor to allow a closed material cycle and production of final particle sizes without a standalone screen. Optionally, oversize material can be discharged via the swivel-mounted return conveyor at the side. The unit's diesel-electrical drive provides low fuel consumption. Its power plant generates 332 horsepower at 1,500 rpm, and the unit can crush up to 287 tons per hour with a feed size of up to 8 1/4 inches. The standard hopper feed opening is approximately 8 feet, 3 inches wide by 11 feet, 2 inches long. Kleemann | www.wirtgenamerica.com
