The W436 (pictured) is equipped with a 36-inch fixed, fabricated deck, and the W448 boasts a 48-inch fixed, fabricated deck. Each model comes with the following fea- tures: Peerless 5-speed transmission, premium Vanguard engine, assisted reverse, electric clutch, and rubber M-ZT discharge shield. JoHn deere quikTrak Mod John Deere is continuing to meet the needs of its customers with the expansion of its Mulch On Demand (MOD) mower deck offering. The exclusive MOD is available in the 2014 QuikTrak commercial mower lineup, which includes the 652R MOD and 652R EFI MOD models. The MOD deck was previously only available in the John Deere ZTrak line. The John Deere MOD deck allows an operator to switch between mulching and side discharging without leaving the mower. This saves cleanup time by keeping clippings off sidewalks and driveways and out of mulch beds. The QuikTrak MOD can be converted from a wide-open side-discharge mode to a full-chambered mulching mode or any position in between by holding down on the electric switch that is conveniently located on the dash. John Deere also offers 11 machines in its walk-behind lineup, with deck sizes ranging from 32 inches to 61 inches and a choice of twin-loop or pistol-grip controls. snapper pro sW35CC CoMMerCial Walk-beHind MoWer The new Snapper Pro SW35CC commercial walk-behind mower meets the demands of pro- fessional mowing crews. This dual-hydrostatic machine offers powerful engine options paired with 48-, 52- or 61-inch 10-gauge-steel mowing decks and offers newly designed Central- ized Control handlebars. "The new controls are ergonomically designed so that operators experience less fatigue," said Bill Shea, vice president of commercial sales for the Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group. "They provide improved hand positioning for maneuvering around trees, fences and other obstacles. They are also more efficient than traditional pistol-grip controls for operators using a sulky attachment." Engine options include a 26-gross-hp. Vanguard 810-cc, a 28-gross-hp. Vanguard 810-cc EFI, a 20.5-gross-hp. Kawasaki FX651V or a 23.5- gross-hp. Kawasaki FX730V. Dual commercial Hydro-Gear ZT-3100 transaxles with 7-inch cooling fans are standard on all models. Toro 21-inCH CoMMerCial Heavy-duTy Toro 21-inch commercial heavy-duty mowers feature rugged, commercial-grade components that consistently stand up to the toughest condi- tions. Premium engines and maintenance-free transmissions allow the operator to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. The rear bagging system features a wide opening and ramped tunnel to maximize bag fill. It holds 2.1 bushels, which also contributes to optimum productivity. When it is time to dispose of clip- pings, the 21-inch commercial heavy-duty mowers feature an easy-empty design. Addition- ally, the Blade Brake Clutch (BBC) system on select models allows the operator to disengage the blades without shutting down the engine. The corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy deck is designed for durability, and the replaceable steel wear plates protect select models against bottom and side impacts. Powering this versatile machine is either a premium Kawasaki or premium Honda engine. WrigHT velke pisTol grip Hydro MoWer Wright Manufacturing's Velke pistol grip hydro mowers, with deck widths of 32, 36, 48 and 52 inches, can be operated as a walk behind or it can be paired with Wright's Velke foldaway sulky for ride-behind convenience. The mower has an integrated latch system for easy deployment and stowage of Wright's patented Velke sulky. With the complete Velke system, you can back in and out of tight spots and make turns quickly. The Velke is more compact than the competition, yet is has the largest drive tires of any fixed-deck walk-behind mower in the industry, and a simpler hydraulic control system with fewer components increases the mower's reliability.
