Alliance RoughDeck CS Coil Scales from Rice Lake are NTEP approved in capacities from 25,000 to 100,000 lbs., and can be used above ground or can be custom built to fi t exist- ing pit frames. Designed for weighing massive steel coils, ingots, and other dense material to legal-for-trade accuracy, they come in stan- dard sizes from 4 ft. x 6 ft., to 10 ft. x 20 ft., the company says. Featuring a low-profi le, Alliance RoughDeck CS Coil Scales incorporate tightly spaced 8 in. x 15 lb. steel I-Beams, a smooth 0.5 in. thick top plate, and patented self-checking mounting system. Options include digital weight indicators, remote displays, printers, and coil cradles, the company says. Heavy-duty coil scale Off The Line Spotlighting a new OEM innovation Kenworth introduces the ICON 900, its new customized, limited edition, pre- mium truck. The ICON 900 is a highly stylized and modernized tribute to the classic W900L, a truck Kenworth Assistant General Man- ager for Sales and Marketing Jason Skoog calls "a trucker's truck." "[The ICON 900] is a true reward for the customers who want only the true driver experience," says Preston Feight, Kenworth general manager and Paccar vice president. The company says other distinguish- ing features include stainless steel fender guards, upgraded headlights, headlamp covers, under door panels and sleeper panels, grille closeout panel, plus large sun visor are just some of the items included in the exterior package. Kenworth debuts premium 'ICON' truck New tool catalog Snap-on Tools presents its new product catalog. The new catalog design show- cases more than 17,500 products, including the latest in hand tools, tool storage, power tools, diag- nostics and shop and technician solutions. Snap-on says it added 168 pages and more than 2,200 product of- ferings from the previous version of the catalog. The new catalog index contains tool applications listed by OEM for quick access to specialty tools. Technician testimonials also highlight each product section, providing customer reviews of functionality, durability and reli- ability, the company says.
