Mavrik's alcohol reduction technol- ogy uses a proprietary membrane that removes only alcohol. It operates by contact, using pumps to gently move cellar-temperature wine through the system at a nominal 10psi. Hyster Earns Product of the Year Award Hyster Co. in Greenville, N.C., has won a 2014 Silver Product of the Year award from Plant Engi- neering magazine for its Fortis S80-120FT lift truck series. The series was selected for its ability to boost performance and reduce down time in heavy- duty applications. Vestaron Receives California Registration Vestaron Corp., the Kalamazoo, Mich.-based developer of insect control products derived from naturally occurring peptides, has received a prod- uct registration and master label from California's Department of Pesticide Regulation for its VST- 006330-EP biopesticide. It will be commercialized under the SPEAR trade name later this year. Westfalia Appoints Jose Ferreyra Westfalia Technologies Inc., a York, Pa.-based provider of logistics solutions, has hired Jose Fer- reyra as quality assurance manager. A logistics industry veteran, Ferreyra is tasked with trouble- shooting system issues, assisting in the develop- ment of systems designs, and managing projects and job sites. Previously, Ferreyra served as a project manager for Westfalia. Intelligrated Promotes Bruce Sudler Chicago, Ill.-based Intelligrated, an automated material handling solutions provider, has promot- ed Bruce Sudler to sales manager for its Midwest regional sales and operations in Woodridge, Ill. In his new role, Sudler leads sales efforts throughout the Midwest, focusing on business development and long-term customer engagement. Sudler joined Intel- ligrated in 2011 as a senior sales engineer. Søren Lonning Named Chr. Hansen CFO Denmark's Chr. Hansen has promoted Søren Westh Lonning to CFO. Lonning has held positions as vice president for business finance and sourc- ing, finance director for the Cultures & Enzymes and Health & Nutrition Divisions, and director of corpo- rate development at Chr. Hansen. Before joining Chr. Hansen, he was investment manager at Axcel Private Equity.
