Alongside casual yet colorful centerpieces, Portuguese translations provided a personal touch for guests of both worlds. As the fall sun set, guests took to the outdoor dance fl oor to samba the night away. Brazil's national cocktail, Caipirinha, was served in classic Mason jars, paying tribute to the country setting and the bride's roots. The bride crafted paper fl owers to add pops of color and personality to the rustic setting. A thumbprint "family tree" proved a unique alternative to a tradi- tional guestbook.
