The fi rst member of the ModulT family to be introduced in North America is the 22.5-in. optimized trailer brake, weighing 70 lbs. including pads. It will soon be followed with 19.5-in. and 22.5-in. air disc brake sizes for trucks and buses, Haldex says. Automann says its distributors can combine tools on orders with other Automann products, with no minimums. King pin system SAF-Holland introduces the Holland 2-in. AAR king pin system for hot dip galva- nized upper couplers. Designed to meet AAR specifi cations, the system is designed to be compatible with 1/4-in., 5/16-in., and 3/8-in. bolster plates. To use the device, a technician or driver chalks the wheels, releases the parking brakes and attaches the magnetized tool to each brake chamber. By pushing the brake pedal, Thor Tool says accurate brake adjustment readings are displayed on digital gauges.
