The 580N EP comes standard with adjustable SmartClutch, which lets operators customize the feel of forward-to-reverse transitions (smooth, moderate or aggressive) to their preference, and the SmartFit bucket tooth system, which features heavy-duty self-sharpening teeth and a hammerless fastener system for easy installation. The backhoe is designed to allow customers a price-competitive machine with the ability to personalize it with available options such as speed-selectable automatic Ride Control, Comfort Steer and the ProControl swing dampening system. As with all Case backhoe loaders, the 580N EP also comes standard with Case's SiteWatch telematics. JCB ENTRY-LEVEL 3CX BACKHOE WITH PILOT CONTROLS JCB's popular entry-level 3CX, a 14-foot full-size backhoe loader built in Savannah, Ga., is now available with pilot controls. The U.S.-built machine boasts a class-leading 13,063-pound loader breakout force and 6,354-lbf loader lift capacity to its full height. The excavator bucket has a 13,942-pound breakout force, and is powered by a JCB EcoMax Tier 4 Final engine delivering 74 hp. This highly efficient power plant has no requirement for a costly Diesel Particulate Filter or any form of exhaust after-treatment such as DEF, reducing operating costs and allowing for quicker turnaround time between rentals. The new Tier 4-compliant compact excavator features a non-DPF engine solution, first-class operator comfort, and ample dig depth and reach. The E32 conventional-tail-swing compact excavator can perform well in tight spaces and sustain travel speeds during pushing and climbing functions. Forward-mount instrumentation system allows the operator to maintain awareness of machine vitals without losing focus on the task at hand. Cold weather protection temporarily limits the maximum engine speed (rpm) to prevent premature component wear or failure. An optional extendable arm provides up to 30 inches of additional reach when at full extension, minimizing machine repositioning and improving operator productivity. HITACHI ZX85USB-5 The ZX85USB-5 ultrashort-radius excavator from Hitachi is perfect for landscape and irrigation work and projects in congested areas. The independent-swing boom lets you dig parallel to walls and foundations, and the standard backfill blade further expands versatility. Rubber crawler pads make this machine perfect for big landscaping jobs. Even with its short stature, this model provides plenty of in-cab amenities. The spacious cab offers best-in-class visibility; more side-to-side leg room; and enhanced, easier-to-use multi-function/multilingual monitor, rearview camera and more. The Yanmar engine employs a cooled exhaust gas recirculation platform paired with a diesel particulate filter and diesel oxidation catalyst to meet EPA Final Tier 4 (FT4)/EU Stage IV emissions regulations.
