New Shell Rotella T4 Triple Protection 15W-40 and 10W-30 along with Shell Rotella T5 Synthetic Blend 10W-30 are formulated to meet the specifi cation criteria for the new API CK-4 service category for diesel engine oil. New Shell Rotella API FA-4 oils will be available later this year. Shell says the logical naming structure of T4 to T5 to T6 and the Triple Protection identifi er makes each engine oil easy to identify. Shell Rotella T4 products will maintain their white bottle, Shell Rotella T5 Synthetic Blend products will maintain their silver color and Shell Rotella T6 Full Synthetic products will continue in blue bottles. Shell says its Rotella bottles will be avail- able in one-gallon and quart sizes. Growing brake parts line Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC (BSFB) has added 100 new part numbers to its Formula Blue hydraulic brake parts line, and plans to introduce additional parts every quarter. The expansion increases Formula Blue's medium-duty lineup by adding import and bus applications. In addi- tion, BSFB says it added a value line of hydraulic brake pads. The new parts cover a range of name plates, includ- ing Blue Bird, Ford, Freightliner, Hino, IC Bus, Kenworth, Mitsubishi Fuso, Navistar, Peterbilt, Thomas Built Buses, UD and Workhorse.
