BBC Kenworth T880 short hood spec'd with a Paccar MX-13 or MX-11 engine. Kurt Swihart, Kenworth marketing director, says the Allison 4700 RDS allows truck operators to creep slowly and perform other low-speed maneuvers handy in ready-mix applications where drivers require a truck with maximum speed control for job site maneuverability in steep and diffi cult terrain, or with mixer trucks that move slowly while pouring concrete for street curbs, driveways or other projects in confi ned spaces. A lower fi rst gear ratio and an optional second 'deep reverse' make the truck maneuverable particularly on steep grades and in tight settings. The transmission also features no-power interrupts, providing full power shifts and allowing full use of the engine's horsepower, the company says. Kenworth adds automatic option for T880 Expanded tool line Milwaukee Tool has expanded its hand tool offering with the intro- duction of several new locking tools designed to increase produc- tivity for the user. Milwaukee says each tool features hardened jaws for more gripping power on jobsite material, and is made from chrome plated forged alloy steel for maximum durability and rust protection. Mixed-service application tire Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has introduced its all-new Armor Max Pro Grade MSD tire for hardworking construction, cement, dump and coal fi eld trucks. Goodyear says the tire features a rug- ged tread design for on- and off-road applications, a tough tread compound to help resist chipping and chunking, a spe- cial mixed-service undertread compound for enhancing casing toughness and a cool-running base compound to help provide long tread life and lower rolling resistance. Currently, the Goodyear Armor Max Pro Grade MSD is available in the following sizes: 11R22.5, 11R24.5 and 12R22.5, all Load Range H. Mixed-service Fuel system additive Rislone introduces its Diesel Fuel System Treatment, a diesel fuel additive with ULSD sulfur substitute that the company says aids in fuel system cleaning, offers lubrication, removes contaminants, fi ghts corrosion, and helps to prevent fuel from gelling and going bad. Rislone Diesel Fuel System Treatment is designed to work with all light-, medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines including ULSD and biodiesel. It will not harm the engine or any emissions components, including catalytic converters, particulate fi lters, EGR valve or DEF systems, the company says. One bottle is concentrated to treat up to 35 gallons of diesel fuel. Growing air compressor line TRP is expanding its line of all-makes truck, trailer and bus parts with TRP Super Heavy Duty A/C Compressors. TRP Super Heavy Duty A/C Compres- sors feature more than twice the clutch life of industry heavy-duty compres- sors, the company says. They are rated at 2 million cycles, and the advanced oil circulation for the shaft bearing and seal ensures smooth, consistent operation, according to TRP. Growing air
