The new program features panels with 2-3/8" diamond and du- rable 11.5 gauge galvanized fabric, available in both 1 3/8" and 1 5/8" 16 gauge pipe framework. The temporary fence panels are available with laced edges or tradi- tional tension bar formats. Structural- ly, both vertical and cross supports are available, the company stated. The program includes the most common sizes – 10' W x 6' H, 12' W x 6', and 10' W x 8' H, as well as any special needs. Windscreen is available in both black and dark green, for both 6' and 8' temp panels/fencing heights. Grom- mets every 24" speed up installation and securely fasten the windscreen to the fence. The expanded product offering of temp panels, in addition to established fence systems such as chain link, or- namental, PVC and wood, provides a "just in time" one-stop shopping expe- rience, said Gary Saletrik, temp panel product manager. "Temp panels are a win/win for contractors sourcing from Master Halco," he said. "Depending on their needs they can pick up a pal- let or have a truckload delivered even to a jobsite. Contractors do not need to tie up working capital carrying a large panel inventory." "Our distribution model, our in- house capabilities to make special sizes, and our ability to make sure we can meet the local market needs set us apart," said Glenn Shenk, executive director of operations. "If a custom- er is looking for the economical 10' x 6' laced temp panel for 70% of their business, and needs 12' x 6' with 3 rows of barbed wire for special high security projects, we can meet both their needs. We also offer a selection of windscreen available for use with the temporary fence panels or with traditional chain link fencing." "Fence contractors need to take advantage of our temp panel availabil- ity instead of making their own temp panels in-house," urged Tim O'Brien, vice-president of sales and marketing. "Contractors can better utilize their resources for selling, installing temp panels or gate fabrication to help grow their overall business." According to Ed Ohm, Master Halco's Northeast Region manager, "These are quality panels at a com- petitive price that will allow con- tractors to add temp panels to their current product and service offering or contractors can grow their current business with additional inventory availability by utilizing Master Hal- co's inventory, delivery and business services. "With temp panel availability in all 53 distribution center locations in the United States and Canada, Master Halco can meet the fence contractor needs for construction projects, spe- cial events and unexpected disasters that occur, where the temporary fence panels need to be delivered quickly to your facilities or directly to the job site," he added.
