Cousins' and Calangelo's Icon was the first built by Kenworth. The Carthage, Missouri-based truckers took ownership of the rig after Kenworth introduced it last March, stripped it down and rebuilt it as a custom show truck. The pair took home two Pride & Polish Best of Show victories in the 2015-16 circuit, winning the PDI Pride & Polish in October and the 75 Chrome Shop Show in April. The rig also was named Truckers' Choice National Champion, winning an online voting contest by Overdrive readers. Two other champions qualified to compete at last year's GATS, which hosts the first event of the National Championship sea- son. Von Ormy, Texas-based owner-operator Regalado and Rigby, Idaho-based operator Jay both won Best of Show in their categories at the 2015-16 season kick- off in Dallas last year and returned to collect National Championships this year.
