The FedEx Cup Playo s conclude with the Tour
Championship, the nal week of the Playo s, at
East Lake GC in Atlanta, today-Sunday. Locals who
quali ed for the eld by nishing in the top 30 on
the points list are Justin Thomas, Bubba Watson
and Jason Dufner.
The European Tour hosts the Porsche European
Open at Golf Resort Bad Griesbach in Germany
with Paul Dunne, Bud Cauley and Tjaart van der
Walt playing.
The Web.com Tour continues their four-event
Playo Series today with the Nationwide Children's
Championship at OSU GC (Scarlet Course) in Co-
lumbus, Ohio with Dominic Bozzelli, Trey Mul-
linax, Zack Sucher, Michael Thompson, Brian
Gay and Bobby Wyatt all playing.
The PGA Tour Champions hosts the Paci c Links
Bear Mountain Championship at Bear Mountain
Resort in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada with
locals Glen Day, Joe Durant and Steve Lowery
playing.
And the LPGA Tour is o this week.
Michael Thompson wins Web.com Tour
Finals event
Former University of Alabama standout golfer
Michael Thompson recaptured his very best form
when he won the Albertsons Boise Open presented
by Kraft Nabisco, the second of four Web.com Tour
Finals events. Rounds of 64-64 over the weekend
allowed him to post a 23-under-par 261 total at
Hillcrest Country Club in Boise, Idaho, three strokes
better than Argen-
tina's Miguel Angel
Carballo.
"It's a huge con-
dence boost, to
know that you can
do it on such a big
stage on a big level,"
Thompson told

He takes over the
top spot on the Finals
money list with his rst-place prize of $180,000.
"These four Web.com Tour Finals events mean
a lot to all of us. We all want to get our card, espe-
cially the guys that lost it last year. I hope that this
continues to breed con dence going forward. I feel
good about my game," Thompson continued.
